Project Albatros

Where are we with project Albatros? Well. I think its right to create an outline first. Something to hold me accountable to.

1)We grow our own specimen.

2) Sequences it. Analyze the sequence

3) Modify that sequence

4) Implant that modified sequence. And the process repeats. With creative formulations add to the mix and maybe a report or two.

The Idea/ Overview:

Were beginning with Mushrooms. I figure it would be cool to grow and engineer them to do dope things.

We grow from spores to Liquid Culture, to a Mycelium network and finally, to Fruiting bodies.

Preparation for the Experiment:

I was thinking about carrying about a few test runs on Store bought mushrooms to make sure my LC tek is solid before i processed and use the research spores.

The Have:

We have Spores and Honey a few Jars some coco coir Bleach and alcohol for disinfectant Some pvc Glue and pure honey

The Need:

We are waiting for pay day to get more materials. Our Scales. Jars and and maybe a plastic tote for storage. We also need shelving and tables, But that might cost a bit more. Either way not much is being done until We get paid.

Editors Note :

Admittedly I'm a novice. Notes will have to be taken that creates a map for my journey in sequencing. I will be posting those in the coming days while i wait for supply. Hopefully I can create a guide for others that might want to follow along
